Reconnecting a Creative Legacy

Former Foote, Cone & Belding Colleagues Launch The FCB Alumni Project to Reconnect a 153-Year Legacy of Creativity

A group of former colleagues from the iconic advertising agency Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) today announced the launch of The FCB Alumni Project, a new initiative designed to reconnect generations of creatives, strategists, and leaders who helped shape one of the world’s most storied advertising agencies.

With a 153-year history, FCB has left an indelible mark on the advertising industry. The FCB Alumni Project is dedicated to preserving that legacy while building a vibrant, forward-looking community for former employees across eras and disciplines.

The initiative centers around three key components:

  • The FCBA Podcast – A new podcast capturing stories, insights, and behind-the-scenes experiences from former FCB colleagues, celebrating the agency’s culture, creativity, and global impact.

  • FCB Alumni Reunion – A special in-person gathering where former employees can reconnect, share memories, and celebrate their contributions to the agency’s long and influential history.

  • Online Community Hub – A dedicated platform at www.fcbalumni.com where alumni can reconnect, share career updates, post photos, and keep the FCB network active for years to come.

The FCB Alumni Project is led by four longtime FCB veterans—Tony Sharpe, Nii Addo, Ernesto Adduci, and Nathalynne McGinnis. Recognizing that thousands of professionals passed through FCB over the decades, the founders set out to create a space that honors those connections while enabling new ones.

“FCB was more than just an agency, it was a place where careers were built, ideas flourished, and lifelong relationships were formed,” said the founding team in a joint statement. “This project is about preserving that spirit and giving our community a way to reconnect and continue inspiring one another.”

At a time when legacy agencies are being reshaped by industry consolidation and transformation, The FCB Alumni Project aims to keep the agency’s spirit alive. The initiative not only celebrates FCB’s historic contributions to advertising, but also highlights the ongoing influence of its alumni in shaping modern storytelling and creative innovation.

The founders believe the project represents a compelling example of how professional communities can leverage modern tools—such as podcasts, digital platforms, and live events—to preserve history while fostering meaningful connections for the future.
